A source who’s close to the couple’s cousin’s friend’s babysitter’s dog tells HuffPost that this meme about Sophie Turner and Joe Jonasis pretty funny.
After news broke this week that the “it” couple was divorcing after four years of marriage, all kinds of coverage about why they split has popped up all over the internet. The coverage ranges from “multiple sources” telling TMZ that Jonas allegedly saw Turner doing something unforgivable on Ring camera footage to posts about fans analysing Jonas’ character through Taylor Swift lyrics.
Although the Jonas Brothers musician and the Game of Thrones alum have not specified publicly why they’re breaking up — thanks to a lack of entertainment news due to the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes, it seems media outlets can’t help but oversaturate the story … even if a lot of it seems highly speculative.
And although TMZ has been leading the pack in this type of coverage, we’ll admit: HuffPost has been having a field day with it as well.
But it doesn’t mean we can’t be highly amused by a new meme that calls out all the random coverage about why they’re divorcing, at least according to a source that told HuffPost that HuffPost finds it highly amusing.
Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner are at the centre of fresh break-up rumours – and people are not handling it very well.
On Sunday, TMZ was the first to report that the Jonas Brothers singer and former Game Of Thrones actor were preparing to divorce after around four years of marriage.

People magazine subsequently quoted an undisclosed “source” who claimed that Joe had “retained a divorce lawyer”.
Neither party is yet to comment on the rumours publicly, but that hasn’t stopped fans over on X (formerly Twitter) from sharing their feelings anyway. And let’s just say, they’re not taking it very well.
wait what? Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner are headed for a divorce?
HuffPost UK has contacted representatives for Joe Jonas. Sophie Turner’s representatives declined to comment.
Joe and Sophie first began dating in 2017, and a year later announced their plans to wed.
They eventually tied the knot in 2019, first in a Las Vegas service following that year’s Billboard Music Awards, and later with a more lavish ceremony in Paris.

Since then, the pair have become parents to three-year-old Willa and a second child, whose name they have not disclosed publicly, in 2022.
Joe is best known for his work alongside his siblings Nick and Kevin Jonas in The Jonas Brothers. He was also the frontman of the group DNCE, whose hit Cake By The Ocean reached number four in the UK in 2015.
Meanwhile, Sophie played Sansa Stark in all eight seasons of Game Of Thrones, a role which earned her an Emmy in 2019.
She has also appeared in the true crime drama The Staircase and the films X-Men: Apocalypse and Do Revenge.
In an article published on Thursday, the Just in Love singer told People that the headlines and wide response to his accident were actually “quite fun” for him.

“I like people to come up with their own idea of what it was,” he said.
Joe had previously discussed the poopy incident during an appearance on the Australian podcast Will & Woody in July.
He told hosts Will McMahon and Woody Whitelaw that it had taken place about four years prior — though he didn’t share the specific date or location of the concert in question.
“There’s a point in your life where, as an adult, you can remember the last time you shit your pants,” he said, later adding that it was “a bad day to choose to wear white clothing”.
The Jonas Brothers member recalled that the unfortunate event prompted him to change his wardrobe in the middle of a set.

“I feel like I’ve paid my dues and I’m a part of some secret club now,” Joe said at the time.
Still, he told People this week that the ordeal onstage was “a scare”.
His younger brother and bandmate Nick Jonas expressed amazement at how quickly the news had spread. “This story went everywhere,” he recalled.
The Jonas Brothers are currently on tour, with their next concert in Missouri on Sunday.
Kevin Jonas, the eldest member of the group, celebrated the ongoing tour in an Instagram post on Wednesday.
“Can’t believe we get to do this every night with all of you and the best band out there!!” he told followers.
Joe Jonas once defecated into his pants while performing on stage — in a white suit.
The Not Right Now singer unexpectedly shared as much during a rather casual chat on Friday’s Australian Will & Woody podcast episode. Jonas even admitted the bowel betrayal was relatively recent before presumably joking that he sought therapy afterward.
“There’s a point in your life where, as an adult, you can remember the last time you shit your pants,” the 33-year-old told hosts Will McMahon and Woody Whitelaw. “This was, I think, about four years ago. It’s fresh, but I’ve been able to work through it. A lot of therapy.”

He continued, “Let’s just say it was a bad day to choose to wear white clothing. You think it might’ve been a little toot. It might’ve been a little something else — a little something extra. So, it was like a mid-wardrobe shit-change during the set.”
“You know, the whole time, I thought, ‘This is definitely, uhm, somebody’s gonna be able to see this and know what’s happening. They’re gonna realise that…’ you know,” said Jonas on the podcast. “But it was all in my head. It wasn’t as big of a deal as I thought. Such is life.”

“It was a light one,” he added. “It wasn’t a full, you know? So I was able to tell the tale.”
While he couldn’t remember the date or location of the specific concert in question — or understandably omitted those details on purpose — Jonas did say that “the archives” of tour footage have undoubtedly preserved that odorous moment to this day.
“I’m sure you can find it,” he told the hosts.
Jonas, who formed his band with siblings Nick and Kevin in 2005, recalled thinking that the crowd that night must’ve wondered: “Oh, that was an interesting choice to change clothes that quickly.” In the end, however, he oddly took soiling his pants in public as a victory.
“It’s happened to many artists,” he said. “I feel like I’ve paid my dues, and I’m part of some secret club now.”
