Fans Defend Demi Moore After Awkward Golden Globes Moment With Kylie Jenner

Demi Moore’s daughter is not going to let the online gossip mill steal her mom’s shine.

On Sunday, after the Substance star won her first major acting award at the 82nd Golden Globes, footage began bubbling up on social media that ― according to some ― depicted Demi snubbing fellow guest Kylie Jenner at the ceremony.

In the video, which was originally posted on the Golden Globes’ official TikTok account, an elated Demi could be seen hugging actor Elle Fanning, who is sitting next to Kylie.

Demi began to talk excitedly with Elle, as Kylie looked on. At one point, Kylie appeared to congratulate Demi, which she briefly acknowledged before turning back to Elle to continue their conversation.

Following this, Demi noticed Kylie’s boyfriend, actor Timothée Chalamet, greeting him warmly and beginning talking to him, essentially passing Kylie over in the process.

Another video posted to X, formerly Twitter, shows the exchange between Timothée and Demi from a slightly different angle.

You can see the Kylie Cosmetics founder nervously playing with her hair and excitedly clutching her phone — perhaps in anticipation of getting a selfie with Demi — but eventually looking down in apparent defeat as the Ghost actor walks away.

Some social media users were outraged by the maybe-snub, while others delighted in it:

Adam Brody Quietly Shows His Adoration For Wife Leighton Meester With 1 Simple Act

Adam Brody proved chivalry isn’t dead during a sweet moment with his wife, Leighton Meester, on the Golden Globes red carpet on Sunday night.

In a TikTok video shared by the French magazine Gala, the two actors can be seen approaching photographers on the carpet when the Gossip Girl alum suddenly stops and stands to the side as her husband takes his mark to pose solo.

The move could be interpreted as a supportive one being that it was technically Adam’s night – he had been nominated for an award for his role in the Netflix comedy Nobody Wants This.

However, the O.C. alum clearly wanted to share the moment with his wife and gestured for her to join him.

She then trotted over, wrapped her arm around Adam and stroked his back affectionately. After a couple of photos were snapped of the pair, Leighton went off to the side again to let her husband have his moment alone.

When the clip made its way to X – formerly called Twitter – fans of the couple were completely smitten.

Adam and Leighton tied the knot in 2014 after meeting on the set of the movie The Oranges three years earlier.

Since then, they have welcomed two children, nine-year-old Arlo and a four-year-old son, whose name has not yet been shared publicly.

Although the couple is relatively private, Adam did open up on Today in September about how he and Leighton make their marriage work.

“Pick someone good,” the actor said of his wife. “Be lucky and be in love with someone who’s great and then just kind of listen to them.”

He continued: “If you’re with someone great, you’re on third base. Not that it doesn’t take sacrifice and humility, and you have to grow together, and you have to be willing to grow, because you’re not going to be able to stay 100% right where you are.

“But if you’re with someone wonderful, I think you’re on third [base].”

With the whole world currently speculating about whether Zendaya and Tom Holland are really engaged, fans think they’ve spotted another sign of the Euphoria star’s devotion to her long-term partner.

On Sunday night, Zendaya made headlines when she was pictured sporting a dazzling ring on what is traditionally considered the engagement finger on the Golden Globes red carpet.

Following this, multiple US outlets reported that the Spider-Man co-stars are now engaged, although the two actors are currently keeping schtum about the rumours.

However, it wasn’t just Zendaya’s ring that caught fans’ eyes on the Golden Globes red carpet.

Many also pointed out that it looks like the Challengers performer has had her first ink in tribute to her rumoured fiancé.

Another clip filmed at this year’s Golden Globes ceremony appears to depict Zendaya showing off her engagement ring to movie producer Amy Pascal…

The Los Angeles Times also reported that a newly-engaged reporter for the outlet shared a wordless exchange with Zendaya over their rings – although they crucially noted that she never actually confirmed whether or not she is engaged herself.

According to TMZ, the two are freshly engaged, after Tom allegedly popped the question over the festive period.

HuffPost UK has contacted Zendaya and Tom Holland’s teams for comment.

Zendaya and Tom had already been dating for several years before they confirmed they were an item in 2021, having met on the set of the superhero movie Spider-Man: Homecoming.

The pair are currently gearing up to share the screen once again in Oscar-winning director Christopher Nolan’s follow-up to his hit film Oppenheimer, which will be an adaptation of the epic The Odyssey.

Golden Globes Host Jo Koy Admits His Taylor Swift Joke Was ‘Weird’

Comedian Jo Koy has addressed Taylor Swift’s reaction to the joke he made about her at Sunday’s Golden Globes ceremony.

Koy’s opening monologue got mixed reviews at best, to the point where he blamed the show’s comedy writers when jokes didn’t hit.

But the most devastating burn may have been the silent reaction Swift gave when Koy joked, “The big difference between the Golden Globes and the NFL? On the Golden Globes, we have fewer camera shots of Taylor Swift…”

As the clip below amply demonstrates, the singer was not impressed, offering a blank look as she sipped a drink. The response to the joke even led to Koy apologising.

In an interview with GMA3, Koy admitted that the Swift joke was “a little flat” and “was a weird joke, I guess”.

Still, he insisted that Swift wasn’t the butt of the joke.

“I was trying to make fun of the NFL using cutaways and how the Globes didn’t have to do that. So it was more of a jab toward the NFL. But it just didn’t come out that way,” he said.

Koy also spoke about the joke with Entertainment Tonight.

“Aww, man, it was cute. I was just saying it was cute,” he said. “I was just saying it’s less cutaways, that’s all.”

In response, ET correspondent Denny Directo suggested, “Maybe she was thirsty? Maybe she just needed to drink the champagne.”

“Aww, man,” Koy replied.

Swift has become a regular feature at Kansas City Chiefs games this season after she started dating tight end Travis Kelce.

As a result, there have been a lot of cutaways to her in a luxury box and, of course, some criticism about it.

Last month, Swift told Time magazine that she doesn’t pay attention to how often or how little the TV cameras show her at the games.

“I’m just there to support Travis,” she said. “I have no awareness of if I’m being shown too much and pissing off a few dads, Brads, and Chads.”

Who knew conversations about armpits and astrology could be so tantalising?

British media personality Amelia Dimoldenberg, best known for her YouTube series Chicken Shop Date, deployed her trademark awkwardness and expert flirting skills while interviewing Andrew Garfield at two separate red carpet events recently — and their chemistry is off the charts.

Chicken Shop Date is a popular YouTube series in which Dimoldenberg takes different celebrities like Jack Harlow, Ed Sheeran and Daniel Kaluuya to notoriously unsexy fried chicken joints for hilariously clumsy “dates.”

In November, Dimoldenberg got a gig interviewing celebrities on the red carpet for GQ’s Men of the Year Awards. It was there that Garfield approached her to tell her he was a fan.

“I think you’re great,” Garfield shyly says to Dimoldenberg in a video that went viral on Twitter.

After some back-and-forth, Dimoldenberg then tells Garfield that she’s been trying to get a “date” with him “for a while.”

“I’m asking you out right now,” Dimoldenberg said, shooting her shot to get Garfield on her show, but also perhaps insinuating a real date.

“You do date a lot of people,” the The Amazing Spider-Man star said bashfully.

“Yeah, and?” Dimoldenberg shot back.

“Oh no, it’s wonderful,” Garfield said. “It’s just like, I don’t know. I just feel less special, I guess.”

“No way, you are the most special,” Dimoldenberg said.

“Right,” Garfield said nervously laughing. “You say that to every single person.”

“No, I don’t. You’re the first person I’ve called special tonight — especially your armpits,” Dimoldenberg said, referring to a GQ cover story of Garfield in November, which includes photos of the the Under The Banner Of Heaven star shirtless, with his arms raised, and appearing to be sniffing himself.

After Garfield admits that he hated that photo and almost asked the magazine to “kill it,” Dimoldenberg tells him that it was her “favourite image” from the shoot.

“It’s the background on my phone,” she says.

Garfield then asks if she has an armpit fetish, and after some more adorable back-and-forth, Dimoldenberg says: “Look, I’m giving you a compliment, you look really good, just take the compliment.”

“You look lovely as well. You look very beautiful,” Garfield says before leaning to the side to check her out.

The two met again on the Golden Globes red carpet on Tuesday, and their banter hit its boiling point.

“We must stop meeting like this,” Dimoldenberg says to Garfield cheekily in a video of the encounter.

“I only ever want to see you,” Garfield says, slightly flustered.

“What?” Dimoldenberg responds.

“That’s not the end of the sentence!” Garfield says, placing his hands over Dimoldenberg’s on her mic.

“I only ever want to see you in these kinds of situations,” Garfield says.

“What about other kinds of situations?” Dimoldenberg asks, before the two get into a conversation about how their astrological charts are so complementary that Garfield said he was “scared” of what exploring other situations with Dimoldenberg “would turn into.”

We say Garfield should go for it. In the same GQ profile Dimoldenberg referred to during their first interview, Garfield did say he regretted not having a family and children yet.

So, maybe the two should go on a chicken shop date — off camera.
